As an oil painter, Lucibratio finds inspiration in her immediate surroundings and draws from her own memories. In her creative process, she uses pictures to capture scenes that hold personal significance and resonance. However her approach involves a filtering process, wherein she emphasizes only the parts that are the most important to her. This curation allows her to distill the essence of a particular moment, effectively freezing it in time.
As an artist, Lucibratio is fond of using a great variety of materials such as wood, ceramics, plastic and glass. Most of the time, the spatial works serve as an addition to her paintings. Furthermore, she translates skills developed through painting into the digital side of content making. These digital drawings range from cover art for music albums on Spotify to artworks that portray community stories in public spaces of Amsterdam.
